Hufkens Human Resources in Maastricht is an independent consultancy firm
for search and selection of personnel. Our site has vacancies from companies in Limburg, in the
southern part of the Netherlands and has many links to other Dutch job-listings. Several
multi-national companies such as Tredegar, Indigo, Celsis Lumac, Scotts and Showa International
are our customers. However legislation concerning employment in the Netherlands differs very much
from the laws in most other countries. In Holland employees are strongly protected by rules and
regulations so employers are very careful in
selecting their employees. It is unthinkable that a Dutch employer would employ a person without
at least personally interviewing him or her a couple of times. As a result it is practically
impossible to get a job in the Netherlands without living there.
